Students were invited to "Take a Veteran to School" for a special morning of celebrations, hosted by PTO. The event took place on November 10, 2022. Active Duty, Reservists, and Veteran military family members of all backgrounds AND their Students had the opportunity to receive appreciation for their service.
We are grateful to our VES Principal, School Liaison Officer, and PTO President for facilitating a special Veterans Day celebration for our students. Thank you also to all of the volunteers who came together to make the magic happen for our students and the special military-connected guests that were present for our breakfast and assembly. We are proud to serve a school community with so many Service Members and Veterans!
Photos of Students and their Veterans were collected for our Honor Wall. The Honor Wall was on display during the month of November and was located inside the school near the Front Office. Thank you to all of the families who shared photos of their Service Members and students!
