Description
Over the past few years, Jog-A-Thon has raised nearly $40,000 each year through sponsorships and student donations. Every dollar donated goes directly towards improving the Village Elementary students’ learning environment. This money has gone directly to our school in support of:
- Our beautiful new school library: shelving, furniture, flooring, and books
- Grants to teachers for special class projects and the Meet the Masters Art Program
- The New TK/Kindergarten playground
- A New Village Staff lounge for our teachers and staff to enjoy
- Angela’s Garden – our community access garden
Through our generous community donations, we are able to award the top 10 students who bring in the most fundraising money. The top earning classes in each grade (TK/K, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th) also earn a special party or yummy treat as well!
